Vendor Terms & Conditions

1. Who this applies to

These terms apply specifically to any business or individual ("Vendor") that creates a listing on Set My Event ("the Platform"). They apply in addition to, not instead of, our general Terms of Service.

2. Listing accuracy

You are solely responsible for the accuracy of everything on your listing — pricing, photos, service descriptions, availability, and contact details. Listing information that is false, misleading, or materially different from what you actually offer may result in listing suspension without refund.

3. Plans, pricing & payment

Starter is free. Pro and Featured are paid annual plans, billed upfront through our payment processor (Razorpay) at the price shown at checkout, inclusive of any active platform-wide discount. Prices are for platform visibility only — we do not guarantee any number of leads, enquiries, or bookings from any plan.

4. Refunds & cancellation

See our separate Refund & Cancellation Policy for the specifics of when a plan payment is and isn't refundable.

5. Leads & client interactions

Leads and enquiries are shared with you in good faith based on what a client submitted. We do not verify a client's identity, budget, or intent before a lead reaches you, and we are not a party to any agreement, deposit, or booking you make with a client. Any dispute over payment, delivery, or quality of your services is between you and the client.

6. Conduct

You agree to respond to genuine enquiries in good faith, honour the pricing and availability you've listed, and communicate professionally. Harassment of clients, repeated no-shows, confirmed fraud, or circumventing the platform to avoid its terms may result in suspension or permanent removal.

7. Verification

A "Verified" badge reflects that your listing passed our review process — see our Verification Policy for exactly what that does and doesn't check.

8. Suspension & termination

We may suspend or remove a listing that violates these terms, our Vendor Guidelines, or applicable law, at our discretion, with or without notice depending on severity. Paid plan fees are not automatically refunded on suspension for cause.

9. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of your listing after a change constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
