Grievance Redressal

Last updated: 14 August 2026

This page needs real information before launch, not just a lawyer's review. India's IT Rules 2021 and the DPDP Act require platforms of meaningful scale to designate a real Grievance Officer — an actual named person at your company, with a working contact, who genuinely handles complaints within the stated timeline. The name/contact below are placeholders. Publishing this page without appointing a real person to the role doesn't satisfy the requirement — a lawyer can confirm exactly what applies to you at your scale.

1. Grievance Officer

Name: [Appoint a real person — do not leave this as a placeholder]

Designation: Grievance Officer, Set My Event

Email: [real, monitored email — e.g. grievance@yourdomain.in]

Address: [your registered business address]

Response time: Acknowledgement within 24 hours, resolution within 15 days, as required under the IT Rules 2021.

2. What you can raise here

Use this channel for formal complaints about content on the platform, privacy/data concerns, unresolved disputes with a vendor's conduct that our normal Report a Vendor process hasn't resolved, or any grievance about how the platform itself is operated.

3. What this isn't for

General customer support questions (use Contact Support instead) or disputes about a specific booking's price/quality with a vendor — those are between you and the vendor directly, though we're glad to help mediate if asked.

4. How to file a grievance

Email the Grievance Officer above with your name, contact details, and a clear description of the issue. Include any relevant screenshots, order/payment IDs, or conversation references.
