Set My Event is a directory and messaging platform that connects people planning events with independent third-party vendors. We do not plan, decorate, cater, photograph, or perform at any event ourselves. Every service on this platform is provided by an independent business, not by Set My Event.

2. Vendor information is vendor-supplied

Vendor bios, pricing, photos, service descriptions, and availability are supplied by the vendor themselves. Our Verification Policy explains what our review process does and doesn't check — it is not an independent audit of a vendor's business, finances, licenses, or claims.

3. Ratings & reviews

Reviews are submitted by clients who have messaged the relevant vendor through the platform. We don't independently verify that a booking or event actually took place before a review is published, though reviews are tied to a real messaging thread with that vendor.

4. No guarantee of outcome

We make no guarantee about the quality, safety, legality, timeliness, or outcome of any vendor's services, or that any lead or enquiry will result in a successful booking. Any agreement, deposit, contract, or payment you make with a vendor is strictly between you and that vendor.
